Lessons of Tawheed only found in the Lands of Islaam and Muslims. Part 2.

As Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh brothers and sisters.

I was walking home tonight from Salaatul-Ishaa’, when I walked pass a group of children playing but what caught my attention was a conversation between a small girl and boy.  The girl was probably 9 or 10 years old, while the boy was a little smaller.  The little girl had within her hands a small bag, which the boy was very interested in.

She said to him, no I will not give you any.  Your Lord provided for you plenty today.  Firstly, He provided you with 1 pound.  Then, He provided you with 1 pound and a quarter.  Then, He provided you with 4 pounds.  That’s 6 pounds and a quarter, that your Lord has provided you with.

I just smiled as I walked pass them.  Only in the lands of Islaam and Tawheed.

Allah granted us Al-Jumu’ah (The Day of Gathering).

Allah granted us Al-Jumu’ah (The Day of Gathering).

Narrated by Aboo Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said:  The Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, said:  ((Allah misguided/sent astray those who had come before us from Al-Jumu’ah (The Day of Gathering/Friday).  So Al-Yahood (The Jews) were guided to yaumus-Sabt (Saturday), and An-Nasaaraa (The Christians) were guided to yaumul-Ahad (Sunday).  So Allah presented to us, therefore guided us to Al-Jumu’ah.  Furthermore, they will follow us on yaumul-Qiyaamah (The Day of Standing and Reckoning).  We are last from amongst Ahlud-Dunyaa (The people of this life), and first on yaumul-Qiyaamah)).  (Muslim 856).

Remaining Firm Upon the Path of Ilm – Shaykh Taamir Fatooh

Question:  How does one remain firm upon the path of seeking Ilm (Knowledge)?

Answer: Shaykh Taamir Fatooh (may Allah have mercy upon him and his family) said, first one must set goals; goals in regards to why he is seeking Ilm.  He must set goals and try to attain them, bi’ithnillah.   Setting goals will provide him with guidance and direction.  He should set goals; saying, I want to memorize Qur’aan, in shaa Allah, he strives in attaining this.  He wants to memorize various books; he then sets forth in trying to attain this, in shaa Allah.

The shaykh said, the student must set goals and try to attain these goals.  In shaa Allah.

(Translators’s note):  We must establish Ikhlaas Lillah (Sincerity for Allah) when establishing our goals.  We must establish these goals seeking Allah’s Face and entrance into His Jannah by His Rahmah (Mercy).

The Shaykh Taamir said, he began his quest for Ilm while in his late 20’s.  He began by memorizing Qur’aan.  Next he said that he wanted to educate himself, so he entered the Ma’had (Learning center) of Ansaar was-Sunnah Al-Muhammadiyyah in Abdeen, Cairo; in which he completed his studies in 4 years.  Along with 10 years of attending the various classes which were found in Masjid At-Tawheed in Abdeen, Cairo.

He studied with Shuyookh such as Ahmad Fahmiyy (rahimahullah), as well as Hasan Abdul-Wahaab Al-Bannaa, Aadil Sayyid and Aliyy Waseefiyy (hafithahumullah alaa khayr).  He said that he began his studies by learning the books of Usool (Foundations) of Aqeedah (Creed), Fiqh (Legislation), Tafseer (Explanation of Qur’aan) and Hadeeth.

May Allah bless and reward with good all of the Scholars and students of Ahlus-Sunnah and have mercy upon them all.

Teaching The Women Their Religion – Shaykh Taamir Fatooh

Teaching The Women Their Religion – Shaykh Taamir Fatooh (May Allah preserve him and his family upon good).

The shaykh began his advice by saying, Teach your wives and your women Aqeedah (Islaamic Creed) and Tawheed (To single out Allah in all acts of worship).  Begin by teaching them from the small and short texts of Aqeedah and Tawheed, like Thalaathatul-Usool (The Three Foundations),  Al-I’tiqaad (Creed) and Usoolul-Eemaan (Foundations of Faith).  Teach them Al-Usool (the foundations).

Teach them slowly and easily.  Be patient with them.  Teach them Asmaa’ullah wa Sifaatullah  (Allah’s names and Allah’s Attributes).  Educate them in regards to Allah’s place and status.  Teach them about His Ilm (Knowledge).  Teach them Khawf (Fear)and Khashyah (Reverence) of Allah.  Teach them Rajaa’ (Hope) and Mahabbah (Love) of Allah.  Teach them about His Rahmah (Mercy).

Educate them about Wudhoo.  Teach them Salaah (Prayer) and Sawm (Fasting).  Teach them Arkaanul-Islaam (Pillars of Islaam).  Teach them Tawakkul (Reliance) upon Allah and Ibaadah (Worship).  Teach them slowly and gently.

I was riding in a micro-bus on my way to work here in Cairo, Egypt, when we passed by an accident site which involved another micro-bus and a smaller car. Our micro-bus driver pulled over and rushed to the scene, al-hamdulillah. But it was the speech of an older man sitting in front of me, whose clothing was very worn and dirty that was very valuable. He said, these micro-bus drivers drive their vans in and out of traffic in crazy like manner. Weaving in and out with no concerns. Rushing and speeding to make money, not knowing that Ar-Razzaaq has already written their Rizq (provisions) for them. He continued by saying, rushing and haste will not quicken the attainment of Rizq. Their Rizq is Maktoob (written) for them by Ar-Razzaaq. He then repeated this statement, their Rizq is Maktoob for them by Ar-Razzaaq.

Shaykh Hasan Abdul-Wahhaab Marzouq Al-Bannaa (may Allah preserve him and his family upon good), once said to me, that which separates the Muslim from the non-Muslim is Tawheed. The Muslim is the flag carrier of Tawheed. This what separates us from the non-Muslims.

Acting Upon Eemaan

Shaykh Aadil-As-Sayyid (may Allah preserve him upon good), who is from the people of knowledge in Egypt said, you find many of the people today with the capabilities of giving wonderful speeches and classes on the rulings and pillars of Eemaan. However, you find few from the people acting upon Eemaan or implementing it. The speech of Eemaan is in abundance, but it’s actions are few. We must become people who are known by our actions of Eemaan and not just by our beautiful speech of it.
The Shaykh continued by saying, da’wah is not just with the tongue, but it is with the actions of the limbs as well. Many came into Islaam after viewing and witnessing the Akhlaaq (manners) and Sulook (behavior) of Allah’s Messenger (Allah’s peace and blessings upon him).
We must act upon the Eemaan that we so eloquently speak about. In shaa Allah.

The Truth Concerning What Is Occurring In Misr (Egypt).

The Truth Concerning What Is Occurring In Misr (Egypt).

Shaykh Muhammad Sa’eed Raslaan (May Allah safeguard him and his family upon good), said:  “That which is currently flowing through Misr (Egypt) – right now – is nothing except conflict (strife) – in the actuality of the situation – it is of 2 cultures:

1)      Al-Hadhaaratul-Islaamiyyah (Islaamic Culture) upon its foundations of Ash-Shar’iyyah (Islaamic Legislation):  (From it is At-Tawheed (making Allah one in all acts of worship), Ittibaa’u khayril-Bariyyah (following the best of creation) (Allah’s peace and blessings upon him).

2)      Al-Hadhaaratul-Gharbiyyah (Western Culture) upon its foundations of Al-Wathaniyyah (Idolatry), At-Tawriyyah (The ways of the Old Testaments, as was revealed to Moosaa (Peace and blessings upon him), As-Saleebiyyah (The ways of the new testament, as believed to have been revealed to Eesaa (Peace and blessings be upon him).

That which is currently flowing through Misr (Egypt), intending from it At-Taghyeer (change)!

At-Taghyeer (change) which means:  Leaving from the old surroundings:  Aqadiyyah (Creed/Doctrine),  Shariyyah (Islaamic Legislation),  Ijtimaa’iyyah (Uniting upon Al-Haqq (Al-Qur’aan and As-Sunnah), Ikhlaaqiyyah (Islaamic behaviour and conduct), and Hayaatiyyah (Existence/Living).

At-Taghyeer which means:  That we abandon – Talaaq Baa’in (Irrevocable or Final Divorce) and no returning in it – All of what connects to the past:  Turaath (Heritage), Lughah (Language), Hadhaarah (Culture), and Intimaa’ (Association)!

At-Taghyeer which means:

That we wear Jeenz (jeans), changing from Al-Qamees (thobe/jalabiyyah)!

That we eat with the Yusraa (left), changing from eating with the Yameen (right)!

That we eat Beetzaa (pizza), changing from eat Thareed (Crumbled pieces of bread, in boiled water which has been cooked with meat and thickens)!

That women have multiple husbands, replacing that men have multiple wives (polygamy)!

That we accept Bigaa’ (lewdness, immorality and promiscuity:  improper sexual conduct) and abandon marriage!

That we speak with the Ar-Rataanatul-Ia’jamiyyah (Foreign Tongue), changing the articulation and clarity regarding the noble Arabic language!

That which is flowing through Misr (Egypt) right now, desiring from it:

That Al-Jaami’atul-Azhariyyah (Al-Azhar University) delays and lingers for Al-Jaami’atul-Amerikiyyah (American University) to proceed!

That Al-Hijaab (woman’s headscarf) leaves for the complete removal of Al-Hijaab and An-Niqaab (face veil), and complete nudity!

That A’laamul-Islaam (The Flags of Islaam) and it banners are folded and put away in Misr (Egypt), for the raising of A’laamus-Saleeb (The flags bearing the cross of Christianity) and A’laamu Najmah Dawood (The Star of David).

Ruqyah and Sabr – Shaykh Taamir Fatooh

Ruqyah and Sabr – Shaykh Taamir Fatooh (may Allah preserve him upon good).

Question:  A man’s wife  is under the opinion that her husband is possessed by a Jinn.  He leaves his home and doesn’t return for days.  He doesn’t sleep with his wife and is constantly angry.  However, he does not want to sit with a Shaykh or Raaqin (one who is proficient in Ruqyah (casting spells or exorcism, legislated by Islaam).  What is a wife to do in this situation?  They also have children, who are afraid of him.  By Allah, what do you advise shaykh?

Answer:  It is upon her to establish Sabr (Patience) and to study Ruqyah.  She must learn and understand this for herself.  She must learn how to apply Ruqyah upon herself.  She must learn how to perform Ruqyah upon her husband, if he does not want to sit with anyone.  He doesn’t want to sit with a Raaqin, nor a Shaykh.  However, it is necessary that she studies Ruqyah and memorizes the Aayaat from the Qur’aan which are used for Ruqyah.  Such as Aayah 102, from Suratul-Baqarah.  As well as Aayatul-Kursiyy.  It is upon her that she performs Ruqyah by using these 2 Aayah.  As well as Mu’awwidhatayn (Suratul-Falaq and Suratun-Naas) and Suratul-Faatihah.  She read these Aayaat upon her husband in abundance.  She must supplicate to Allah before everything; that He removes this evil.  She must establish Sabr in regards to this affair, because these affairs take time.  Indeed these affairs take time.  She must continue upon this affair through its duration, in sickness and in health in regards to these affairs.

It is necessary that whoever performs the Ruqyah and whoever marries must establish Sabr in regards to these affairs.  Do not cease, in Ruqyah nor in Du’aa’.   And with all of these statements, I ask Allah for His forgiveness and I repent to Him
