This is a subject ignored by many of us and only focused upon by a few of us. “Happiness” is very important and if you are a Muslim father and husband it is very important to raise and nurture your family upon it. Islam has all that is required for one to gain happiness wether he or she is rich or poor. Yet without beneficial knowledge many Muslims take harmful paths to find it. And many use “sadness” as a weapon assisting the Shaytaan against themselves and others and we seek refuge in Allah from this evil way.
Our children need it as it is essential for their coming years especially when life becomes hardest. May Allah bless and preserve our Sheikh Saalih al-Fawzaan.
In times such as these our children are exposed to serious evils on the Internet. It is the responsibilities of Muslim parents to watch over and control access of their children’s Internet experiences.
In this video Abu Muhammad al-Looweesi’aani reviews computer software that may help parents monitor and protect their children ensuring a safe and beneficial Internet experience with the help of Allah.
Just a little taste of how things go when those who are not qualified are over the affairs of others. And although it’s funny, in a way, to watch it is also sad.
How many of us are in charge today and cause such destruction with our hands and tongue?
So let’s think. As a man you may be the driver, the operator, the father, husband, son, step-father, uncle and brother. Let us fear Allah and be mindful of our trust. Let us be mindful that we have the ability to bring benefit as well as harm. Let’s seek nearness to Allah and do our best to protect the Muslims (and non Muslims) from our harm. Don’t give your good deeds away.
Let’s make du’aa for our brother hoping in return that Allah will have mercy on us and protect us from brining ourselves and our family towards destruction. Let’s focus on ourselves and our families first, the women and children under our care.
Let’s forgive and move on seeking the face of Allah, The Tremendous. The glorious return for the believers is only to Him, The Perfect. Why dwell on the past? But seek forgives from your Glorious Lord, give thanks, move on and prepare for your meeting with The Inheritor, Allah.
(They say): “Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.” 3:8
85 – “O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the Earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You. I take refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil and shirk of the devil, and from committing wrong against my soul or bringing such upon another Muslim.”
88 – “O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye.”
Righteousness is a choice. Let’s choose righteousness.
Today we had our brother Abdullah Jamaal ‘Abbaas, one of the students of Sheikh Muhammad Sa’eed Rslan (may Allah preserve him and his family), come into the studio today to read this du’aa. Please listen to it and try to repeat it as best you can.
